We need to check the spec!
Why? Well, some of our more premium suppliers mainly deal in the premium side of the market where their products are heavily specified by either architects or project managers, some colours/products are specific to certain brands, etc.
We are asked by the suppliers/manufacturers to acquire the following information so that they can check to see if the project is logged & if there is a special/set price for that project:
- Project name/business name
- Project manager/architect name
- Installation address
- Product name, colour, & m2 requirement
The suppliers who will most likely require this include: Interface, Tarkett DESSO, Burmatex, modulyss, Miliken, Gerflor Gradus, Forbo, IVC Commercial, & more.
Our suppliers will give us a price which can be used on our website only for open-spec/day-to-day box business.
The benefit is sometimes we do see pricing improvements on the larger volume projects & we will pass that saving back to our customers.
